Our intent for the Wider World curriculum area is to provide a holistic approach that integrates geography, history, religious education, and topical issues. Through this interdisciplinary approach, we aim to broaden pupils’ understanding of the world around them, fostering curiosity, empathy, and critical thinking skills. By exploring diverse cultures, historical events, religious beliefs, and current global challenges, we strive to equip our pupils with the knowledge and awareness needed to become compassionate, open-minded, and informed members of society.
