Duke of Edinburgh

The DofE is the world’s leading youth achievement award, giving millions of 14 to 24 year olds the opportunity to be the very best they can be.   This award is fun and challenging and includes a wide range of activities.  It offers endless possibilities to students.  It pushes personal boundaries whilst gaining new skills and enhancing CVs and college applications. Students will need to complete the four sections that make up the bronze award over the agreed timescales in order to gain the qualification. The sections are volunteering, physical, skills and expedition.  The expedition includes a 2 day excursion giving students the opportunity to put their skills into practice.  The award is internally assessed which means students of all abilities can succeed.
