Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is an allocation of additional funding provided to schools to support specific groups of children who are vulnerable to possible underachievement. These include students who are entitled to free school meals, or have been entitled within the last six years; those looked after by the local authority and children who are adopted.

Elements Academy also receives pupil premium plus funding from the Local Authority Virtual School for students who are Children Looked After. The pupil premium plus, allocated, is used to enhance the offer of personalised learning programmes, nurture and enrichment activities; in order to improve outcomes for children and young people.

The total funding Pupil Premium funding allocated for the 2023/24 academic year was £111,558.
