How We Assess The Whole Child

Assessment

Many students attending Elements will have experienced long-term absence, have challenging domestic circumstances, have experienced trauma or have attachment difficulties. Many may have significant learning gaps, show a lack of resilience or have specific learning needs.

We  measure progress holistically using three key performance indicators:

Our Assessment Pathways

Each student’s context will be diagnostically tested to assess their priorities for progress. We will have three Assessment Pathways that challenge our students at an appropriate level, allow assessments to take place and progress to be made. There is no limit to the level of progress that each student can achieve, however expectations and targets are set in context to individual priorities.
