Science

At Elements we encourage curiosity and invite our pupils to ask questions about the world around them.  Through our Science lessons we aim to equip them with the skills to answer their questions and promote a desire to want to find out more.

We foster a ‘hands on’ approach to investigations: giving children the confidence to take the lead with their investigations, instilling teamwork and a positive scientific ethos. We encourage our pupils to understand how science can be used to explain what is occurring, predict how things will behave and analyse the causes.  We aim to develop young scientists who are equipped with the scientific knowledge required to understand the uses and implications of science today and for the future.
